  • The christian explanation for how a complex universe began/created/came into existence is that something many magnitudes more complex created it....this makes sense...why?

Please don't give an answer of 'God always was'. It would be just as easy (probably easier) to just say 'Life always was' or 'The Flying Spaghetti Monster always was'. -This doesn't actually answer anything.

  • God has no need to have been created, since He exists either outside time (where cause and effect do not operate) or within multiple dimensions of time (such that there is no beginning of God's plane of time). Hence God is eternal, having never been created. Although it is possible that the universe itself is eternal, eliminating the need for its creation, observational evidence contradicts this hypothesis, since the universe began to exist a finite ~13.7 billion years ago. The only possible escape is the invention of a kind of super universe, which can never be confirmed experimentally (hence it is metaphysical in nature, and not scientific).

  • god actually does not exist. he's a made up character created long ago by humans to answer questions they didn't know the answer to. he was also made to make people behave properly out of fear of going to hell forever.

  • Well, I was born in America my son.

  • East LA. Down Compton . straight up

  • Being of the ancient Theban faith which once existed in Egypt, the sacred word simply says, "The Lord created HIMSELF."

  • Mans mind

  • Once upon a time, there was a big explosion out of nowhere. The explosion was so big that light appeared, the water took place, men and women, children were formed, birds were singing, the fish were swimming in the ocean. The explosion created lights in the sky, planets, and everything was working together for billion of years with no one out there at all. The explosion also created little brains, small brains, big brains, monkey brains, fish brains, horse brains. Monkey brains, the most powerful one of all, transformed into human beings for over a period of 100 billion years ago. Even today, we saw half monkey, half human meaning that someone is about to become human, but not quite yet. Explosion is always chaotic and nasty but this one was a great one. Usually, explosion killed and destroyed but this explosion arranged things in order. The planet, the moon, the Ocean, the season, our brains, life on earth, life in the sea..Oh, how we love explosion. I wish there was good explosion like this today. This is pure science.
    I am only kidding. LOL

  • God always was.
    Alpha and Omega.
    Duh?

  • God knows.

  • he never came. there is no god!

    jesus christ people are stupid!

  • From the religions POV, god was always there, it had no beginning, thus god will have no end.

But god/s is just a creation by mankind. A belief that got started who knows when.

But since your god is with a capital G, i'd guess it got started around the beginning of Judaism.

  • God is independent of the universe therefore the variables of space and time do not apply to Him. God's domain is the Metaphysical realm and his dominion is the universe and He has knowledge of His dominion through His attributes God is not personally present within the universe nor requires to be in the universe to have absolute knowledge of it. In the sight of God the events from the beginning of the universe to the end of the universe appear as a single point in time i.e. in the sight of God past, present and future stand still like frames in a reel of film

  • what is the origins of our universe pre-bigbang...if the universe can come from nothing...why can't God...

  • You say you find it more believable that a multidimensional universe can pop out of nothing than to believe in God, but what about the laws of physics that are the foundations of atomic behaviour and structure? Where did they come from?
Why do many scientists believe we are "it": that there can never be another "earth" out there?
Now add to that things like the speed of Gravity is about a million times faster than the speed of light. How can this be if the fastest anything can travel at is the speed of light? Why is the speed of light decaying?
One of the fundamentals of a good scientific theory is that as new discoveries are made they are found to be consistent with it. This is one of the big failings of Evolution: New discoveries don't confirm Evolution as the "way we got here". Strange as it may seem (at least to my casual observations), most new discoveries confirm Creation as the way we got here.

  • Do you have any evidence in your belief, as to who created the human body and brain. A big bang can never create vital human organs. It is God who has created the brain, eyes, ears, nose, heart etc in the human body, thousands of years ago. His intelligence can never be compared to anything in the entire universe. You may reply, well then who created God. To this my answer would be, you would definitely get a chance to ask God this question if you follow His teachings and reach Heaven after your life on Earth. But dont risk rejecting and saying God does not exist

    As in 1 Corinthians 3 : 18 - 20
Let no man deceive himself. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness" and again, "The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile."

Jesus is God. He is alive forever.

The questions non Christians and atheists usually ask are:-

    1) Did Jesus really exist?
    2) Is Jesus God?
    3) If Jesus is God, then why did He keep praying to the Father in Heaven? How can the Father and Jesus be one God.? Why did Jesus have to suffer on the Cross?
    4) What is the Holy Spirit?

It would not be possible to give a short answer to these questions .

I suggest you visit the below website.

After visiting the below website, you would get a lot of answers and be able to answer anyone.

  • Jesus hallucinating on weed

  • God came out from human imagination. If you go back into the history of mankind you will find that the concept of God came with rise of civilizations. As man became more and more society oriented, God, was brought into existence as some kind of a super human judge, who gives punishment or reward to humans. God was created by man and not vice versa. Man created God in his own image. Spiritually, God is beyond knowledge and beyond ordinary perception or comprehension. • Same place energy comes from. Eternal.

  • He came from up north.

  • god came from concious energy that had the original soul and spark, intelligence and power to be OMNI (All encompasing): present, potent(powerful), Scient (knowledge).

in a sense god still is energy in the form of the Holy spirit.

if you are implying that god doesnt exist which I believe you are as per the Practical question. then according to Physics everything is deteriorating and all energy is dying and nothing is getting more power.

this means that everything has a Contingency and that means that everything has an origin. as the opposit is to say that we have all done this song and dance before a horizonal 8 ammount of times. NEVER ending. this is simply not true. so something always existed and there was a beginning to everything even though there is no being that we can prove to have lived since the beginning of time or the earth. for an example, an ape that speaks that is over 650 Million yrs old that could tell us "oh yes this happend"

so we can only Hypothesize on the origin. of EVERYTHING.

but your question implies that you believe that everything is eternal and nothing we do will have impact because you will just ask this again in another 10 Billion years.

so I ask you What is the point of asking this pointless Question if you even slightly have a serious idea of what you believe in (meaning evolution of the universe being infinite and fore ever)?

please I do not expect you to accept god but I do expect you to question your own world and what you know to be TRUTH and FACT and of SCIENTIFIC observation. this means something that has been tested in a Lab for graspable evidence to prove the truth.

so by this definition of Science we know that no one truely knows anything about the origin of the world except those who experienced it and no one has........... except we christians and other religious folk believe god or a god did it.

  • "Where did God come from?"

    Christianity in a Nutshell

In the beginning, the Biblegod created the universe. He gave everyone free will to act independently. Then he decided that acting independently of his will was a "sin", something he can't abide being in the presence of. So the Biblegod gave us free will but doesn't want us to use it. The logic here makes my brain hurt so we won't dwell on this point.

Anyway, so the Biblegod's pretty upset about all this sin on earth. Then he came up with a brilliant solution. He sent himself down to earth to assume a human form named "Jesus". He then arranged for himself to be sacrificed to himself. It was the only way he could convince himself to forgive all of us for being sinful.

For a while, the Biblegod's avatar wasn't sure about this mission that he sent himself on but then reminded himself, "Not my will but my will be done." [Matt 26:31] Being on the cross was really painful. At one point, he was heard to say "Me, why have I forsaken me". [Mark 15:34]

However, all the pain and suffering was worth it. If Biblegod hadn't sacrificed himself to himself, he could never have convinced himself to forgive us and change a rule that he made in the first place. He made himself suffer and die on the cross in order that we might be saved from his own wrath.

I'm not sure exactly how bleeding on a cross makes everything better but the Biblegod works in strange ways. Perhaps itâ ™s some sort of therapy for working through his anger management problems. Regardless, he hasn't firebombed any cities lately [Gen 19:24-25] or called for the rape and genocide of entire tribes [Num 31:14-18] since the days of the Old Testament, so let's not argue with what apparently works.

Anyone who doesn't accept the Biblegod's unconditional love as demonstrated by his act of masochism on the cross shall be cast into a lake of fire to be tortured for all eternity [Mark 16:16]. Remember, the Biblegod loves you and doesn't want to torture you for all eternity but you'll make him do it if you don't believe this outlandish tale.

    Glory to the Biblegod. Amen.

  • the law of thermodynamics states that no energy can be created or destroyed. this implies that the universe has always existed.

i believe that humans gave birth to god. although i don't think that was the answer that you were looking for.

  • God is transcendent.
It means beyond the power of human's mind to comprehend it.

  • I don't think Christians will ever answer this as long as the big bang theory is on the table.
They will equate there god's "always was" property to the mysterious pre-big bang universe.

EDIT: fmko beat me to it... lol

  • The universe didn't come from nothing, it came from God. And I'm sorry, but the only answer to your question is that God always was.
