I need a slogan for a port construction project that indicates
integration with the countries economy as a whole. The project is
base in South America in a fairy developed country with a rich
maritime trade history which has an important railway system that
links the port to the countries main import markets and export
producing facilities. The main ideas which need to be conveyed are
integration between the port and the railway (or transportation
network as a whole) and/or how the port will foster economic growth
throughout the country as a whole. Another approach could be showing
how this new port will expand the capabilities to meet future demands
(bigger ships, quicker un/loading times, etc) that current ports
cannot. Any suggestions are welcome, please try to limit the
suggestions to twelve words or less and don't feel the need to cram
all the approaches into one slogan, I only need one good one and it
can use any of the ideas. A knockout answer will certainly get a good
tip!Port [Name]: "An open door to the global World"
Port [Name]: "Making global business at home"The last two are much better but not really what I want. Think of
stressing that this project will create a transportation hub in the
region. Most South American countries uses the Spanish language, do you need
the slogan in such language?Imagine the PORTential humilation if I suggested something that stupidDepending upon the message conveyed, it may actually be more appropriate to say:
?The roads to everywhere are the bridges to anywhere!??Trans-PORT Where Rail Meets Sail?
Sorry Pinky, you'd have thought of that too, the minute you read your
posting again. :) Myoarin"Blazing a Trail Through Today's New World"For OUR nation, for YOUR goods, xxx-Port is the railway link with the world.
(Maybe I like my opening words too much ...)
For all products, xxx-Port is the railway connect with the world.?If only Magellan could see us now.?
?Delivering the world - one continent at a time?
?East and west are divided only by progress. [name here] is closing the gap.?
?The road to anywhere is the bridge to everywhere!?How about:
* Moving wealth over land and sea
* Moving wealth between land and sea
* Firing the engines of our economy
* Opening our business to the global economy
or something like that?
websearcherThe Key to your markets, XXX PORT speeds your goods to and from the world.
Guess that's too long...[NAME] Port -- Linking the wealth of [COUNTRY] to the wealth of the world"####### Port - transporting wealth nationwide""A sea breeze that makes shipping an ease.""Imagine the PORTential."The slogan if for the 'home market' but it is only going to be seen by
higher up types and is meant to show the benefits the port will bring
to the country, helping the RR, boosting the economy, etc...A man, a plan, Panama.
The project is
base in South America in a fairy developed country
Is Pamama a base SA country in a fairy-developed country? For OUR nation, for YOUR products, XXX PORT is where everything moves.
For OUR nation, for YOUR goods, XXX PORT is the fastest connection. (12 words)
For OUR nation, for YOUR products, XXX PORT, the sea-rail link to everywhere.
with the world.
OR "... rail-sea link..." if the slogan is directed primarily to
your local economy.
It finally occurred to me that the slogan may be for the website of
the new port facility and directed more towards the rest of the world
instead of the home market.
True, Qwerty? The direction, not if the slogan is for a website? Thanks for the suggestions... but "Where Rails Meet Sails" isn't all
too professional sounding and sails doesn't give it the modern feel in
as much as sailing ships haven't been used for transport for about a
century and a half."Where Rails Meet Sails."Panama is fine but the actual country doesn't matter and shouldn't be
part of the slogan/tagline.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
