Why shouldn't donors against Prop 8 be treated the same way the donors for Prop 8 are being treated. Maybe there should be a mass boycott of the homosexual shows-you know the blond and brunette. I mean what goes around should come around too.Because prop 8 is infringing upon the rights of Americans. The donors against it should be thanked for trying to give equal rights to everyone.
You know, the philosophy that our country was started on.People for proposition 8 are being singled out because they're voting to restrict the rights of people different from themselves.

Why should their rights be based on other people outside the groups' opinions? What if I though you shouldn't be allowed to... let's say, watch TV... something that doesn't effect me. And what if I got a few thousand people to agree that Kramer K cannot watch TV. Who are we to say you can't, just because we don't like it? Donors AGAINST prop8 did not seek to remove your rights.
Donors FOR prop8 went out and sought to strike down or DISENFRANCHISE the rights of thier gay brothers and sisters.
There's Nothing more unamerican, hipocritical, or immoral then taking rights, priviledges, and happiness away from your fellow man. Have we not all learned from our own history. Shame on supporters of these discriminatory acts.
Who's next..who wants thier rights reduced? Christians.. you up to bat? Loss of civil rights is a slipery slope.. careful what you wish for.If you feel that strongly that some groups of people should be denied their civil rights, then by all means, go ahead and boycott those who try to make this a fairer, more inclusive society. The civil rights movement has met a lot of opposition over the years, you won't be the first one to get in their way. That would be the same as singling out Jews for execution just because they are Jewish which is what the Nazis did during WWII.
Last time I checked there were a LOT of Jews in the US, should they all be sent to the gas chambers just because they continue to be Jewish?
One would hope that we had learned from our mistakes and moved on from such horrors.
In New Zealand we have Gay and Lesbian marriage - it is legally known as a Civil Union.

Those opposed to Prop 8 aren't trying to take a legal right away from anyone. Those that voted and financially supported Prop 8 voted to take away a legal right from fellow Americans. If you want to boycott people that gave money to No on 8 go ahead. If you feel that passionately that gays should not have the same rights as you. If a group of people voted to take a right away from you and you knew of a business that gave them money to help them wouldn't you go somewhere else. Why would you give them money to help them oppress you?we don't do that. we show tolerance and don't show revengeGee, if hatred gets your rocks off, have at it.
If the rights of a group can be put to a vote and those rights taken away, what makes you think you will not be in the next group whose rights are voted away?If it is then I'll be waiting until someone tries to get polygamy legalized.
