First, kudos for adding this simple, yet amazingly helpful function into XBMC.
For people like myself having a large DB and frequent changes in it, this is a HUGE time saver.
I would please like someone to explain how exactly it works so we can use it in the best possible way. I've tried the manual but it appears this function is still not documented there.
On a separate note - Is it possible to enhance the "Scan all Movie Info" function in a way that it would skip movies that have already got the IMDB information? this is helpfull when you add a couple of videos but end up waiting about an hour for the scan to complete.

The wiki has all the essential stuff.
My concern was the handling of removable media but i guess there is no real good way of handling a cleanup with these entries.
